Hey guys, welcome to my “fishing tips for beginners” blog. My name is Darbie Parks, I am a student at Texas State majoring in public relations and basically just trying to survive this last year of school. I spent my whole life in east Texas, graduated high school and decided to get out of my hometown for a bit to continue my education in the great town of San Marcos.

For my Digital and Online Media class we have been assigned to create a blog (this is fairly new to me, so bare with me if things look a little shabby). I think the best part of this assignment is being able to pick any topic to blog about because it makes this a little more interesting. I have decided to do a blog over basic fishing tips, as you have probably already clued together, because when you get an opportunity to do one of your favorite activities for a grade, you run with it.

This blog is mainly going to be about some of the basics of fishing, different areas to fish and a few pointers when fishing. My main audience is directed towards those looking for minor tips and help with fishing and those interested in learning more about fishing, but everyone is welcomed to stay tuned in because not only will I be giving tips, I would also appreciate tips and feedback from you guys as well.

That is it for my first blog guys, I will be dropping more blogs very soon with actual information and tips, so come back and check it out. To keep up with the blogs you can also click the link, my twitter account, so you can access them there as well.
